Purdue University, which accepts more than half of the applicants, has a selective admissions process. If your SAT / ACT and GPA scores are in the average of the school ranges, you will likely be admitted. However, Purdue has a holistic approval process that takes factors other than your grades and test results into account. A solid application essay and a Purdue supplement can strengthen your application, as can participation in sensible extracurricular activities and a strict course program. While not required, Purdue recommends that applicants submit letters of recommendation for more competitive programs.
