Eligible Study Level/Field

The Exxon-Mobil undergraduate scholarship in Nigeria is available to only undergraduate students who are studying in any university in Nigeria. Application form can only be considered in the following disciplines:

  • Petroleum Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical/Electronics Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
  • Geology/Geophysics
  • Medicine(MBBS Only)

Eligible Group

The EXXON-MOBIL Undergraduate scholarship in Nigeria is for Nigerian students only. Students from all 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory is eligible to receive or be offered the scholarship.

Exxon Mobil Undergraduate Scholarship 2020 General Eligibility Requirements

It has been clearly stated that you need to be a Nigerian and studying in a Nigerian University to be offered this scholarship. That is the basic eligibility requirements. There are also other important requirements that if not duly met an individual won’t be eligible to receive the scholarship.

Below is a list of eligibility requirements for the scholarship:

  • Applicants for the Exxon-Mobil Undergraduate Scholarship Must hold an SSCE or its equivalent with not less than 6 subjects passed with 5 at least 5 Distinctions at one sitting.
  • Applicant should be enrolled as full-time undergraduate students in their first or second year of study in a university in Nigeria.
  • If you are currently a beneficiary of a scholarship by an oil company you are not to apply for the scholarship.
  • Dependents of individuals who are employees of Mobil Producing Nigeria, Esso Exploration, Production and Mobil Oil Nigeria PLC are considered not eligible for the scholarship.

Exxon-Mobil Undergraduate Scholarship 2020 Benefits

The Exxon-Mobil Undergraduate scholarship in Nigeria for undergraduate students provide tuition free opportunity for 500 Nigerian undergraduate students. The scholarship is valid for a period of one year and can be renewed for only one more year

Exxon-Mobil Undergraduate Scholarship 2020 Application Guidelines

The EXXON-MOBIL Scholarship can only be applied online using the Exxon-Mobil online application form on the application portal. All interested students are instructed to complete the form on the website and submit as instructed.

Interested candidates are expected to submit their online application within 2 weeks of the scholarship advertisement. If not submitted within two weeks of the advertisement, the application form will not be accepted.

Exxon-Mobil will shortlist candidates for the Exxon-Mobil Undergraduate Scholarship after receiving applications. And shortlisted candidates are expected to come with the original copy and photocopy of the documents they are listed below for final screening before taking the qualifying test:

  • SSCE result or it’s equivalent
  • Evidence of current year of study
  • Evidence of admission (Admission Letter) into a Nigerian University.
  • Current University ID Card.
  • Passport Photographs (current)
  • Proof of State of Origin gotten from the candidate’s Local Government Area and appropriately signed by the Secretary or Chairman.

Application Closing Date

The scholarship is an annual scholarship for Nigerian students and always ends and August 14th
