  • Do not have a license, a degree or a professional diploma

  • be enrolled or plan to enrol at least part-time
  • You have signed up for US selective service if necessary.
  • Cannot repay a state or federal scholarship or default on a student loan
  • Applicant must not be locked up
  • Maintain the standards set by the school for satisfactory academic progress. Recipients who do not meet the standards will not be eligible for the Cal Grant payment and will not use the entitlement under the conditions under which they are not eligible for payment.

 How to apply for any of the web grants 4 Students

 If a student is a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or other qualified non-residents, they must file and submit a FAFSA by March 2 to be eligible for most opportunities. Students attending California Community Colleges can submit a FAFSA by September 2 of each year to be considered for a Competitive Cal Grant from Community College.

To start the FAFSA, a student must create a Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID in order to sign up and sign the completed application.

The FAFSA is used to provide government grants like the Cal Grant and Middle-Class Scholarships, federal grant programs like the Pell Grant, and institutional college grants like the Blue and Gold Scholarship or State University Grant (SUG).
