General Eligibility Requirements for the Berea College Scholarships for International Students
Applicants vying for a position at Berea College must be students with strong academic potential and financial needs. Most students at the Berea College have ACT (or SAT equivalent) scores between 20 and 30 and have a cumulative high school GPA of at least 3.0 in a strong pre-university program. Students can take the ACT or SAT test.
Other factors such as community service, leadership quality and motivation level will also be taken into consideration. The following high school courses are recommended by the college:
- 4 units of English (including composition, rhetoric, and literature)
- 3 units of Mathematics (at least Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry)

Berea College Scholarships for International Students Benefits
Berea College Scholarships for International Students covers 100% of all the needed expenses for 100% of international students in their first year of admission into the college. In the following years, international students are expected to save $1,000 each year to cover their expenses.
